Sales Training
The sales training includes:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes annually.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes annually.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) different sales programs put on for General Managers biannually, totaling 4 ½ training days, focusing on sales culture and day-to-day sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians includes:

  • Furnace and air conditioning tune-up procedural training in spring and fall
  • Heat exchanger and carbon monoxide inspection annually
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ twice a year
  • Continuous NATE certification and specialty classes on demand

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in additional instruction through the use of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc curriculum to better train our technical staff.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Biannually, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to provide support, tools, and structure for managing a business from the P&L standpoint.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times a year, perform outbound calling with a one (1) day program. In this class we go over heating, ventilation, and air conditioning basics, what makes people invest, calling skills, scripts, customer purchasing indicators, and controlling customer objections.

Dispatcher

  • No formal courses given. Ongoing training provided by the General Manager and applicable staff at the center.
